Only at Shop! MarketPlace can you experience this immersive 20'x20' pop-up store for the iconic beauty and wellbeing brand AVEDA. This Experiential Zone features a real life build out of the winning concept from the 2023 Retail Challenge which took place during Shop! Ideation last October.
The annual Retail Challenge is an all-day creative sprint that brings together 10 teams of retailers, designers, brands, suppliers and manufacturers, and challenges them to create a retail design or activation based off a brief provided on-site.
The winning pop-up was created to be an extension of Aveda's powerful brand mission to elevate global macro trends of wellbeing and self-care, with the intention that it be used as a traveling experiential brand beacon in multiple cities and events. PAVE’s Student Design Challenge will bring together top student design talent, industry-leading fixture manufacturers, and Fred Meyer, an American chain of hypermarket superstores, for a unique on-site design opportunity.
Students will be tasked with creating a flexible merchandising system for the retailer with a variety of criteria to follow. The best student designs will be brought to life by our manufacturing partners to be displayed in the PAVE booth. Attendees can expect to be met with innovation, imagination, and sheer talent from this year’s student designers who will be in attendance to present their work in person.
