The client’s brand and shopper insights teams provided Rockstar Energy design imagery as inspiration and requested a “very aspirational brand look and feel” designed into a merchandising catalog of various footprints and retail applications.
The definition of success would be a vehicle that applied disruptive use of Rockstar brand elements while not being cost, production prohibitive. The display must grab attention and make a splash in the energy category, pulling share away from strategic competitors and recovering from recent attempts to disrupt the category by the parent company.
While we applied the objective to four strategic retail settings, this placement was meant to find home in perimeter, front-end large and small-format retail locations. The display would need to ship direct to a retail location upon demand once the front-line sales force sold the placement.
